Co-operative & Community Finance (CCF) provides finance for worker co-operatives and community enterprises. The task of the Development Manager is to increase our profile and generate revenue streams in ways which are consistent with our mission. This mission is to help people to take control of their economic lives through ownership and control of businesses in which they work or which operate in their community.

The vacancy of Development Manager is an exciting and challenging role within the organisation covering, amongst others, the following key responsibilities:

• To increase our role in resourcing and providing funding for worker co-operatives, community enterprises, social firms and social enterprises. This   will include increasing the capital available to lend and promoting our lending service.

• To build new and strengthen current relationships with the public, private and voluntary sectors in the UK.

• To promote CCF services, in particular loan fund management, to the co-operative and social enterprise sector and to policy- making bodies at local, regional, and national levels.

• To build partnerships with other organisations to develop and deliver funding programmes for the whole sector.

This is a exciting opportunity to join the Management Team of the most sustainable and longest established Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) in the UK.

You will be self-motivated and able to motivate others as well as being fervently committed to our sector and its promotion at local, regional and national levels.

Knowledge of and commitment to the co-operative and social enterprise sectors is essential.
